Looking for f/t, p/t or freelance editing/marketing/communications/PR position
I am interested in f/t, p/t and freelance editing, writing, communications and marketing job opportunities. I have more than 24 years of experience in legal publishing focused on marketing, communications, product promotion and editorial content. I’ve also done extensive research, writing and editing on a variety of topics and have worked closely with the editorial, production and marketing teams to identify and launch new articles, manage projects and assure their timely completion. Having worked for so many years in media, I’ve developed strong contacts and know what it takes to work effectively with media outlets.
Most recently, I was the Managing Editor of Lawdragon, the online and print business and legal news company where I wrote and edited articles, conducted interviews and Q & As, as well as developed practice-specific mini-websites. Among my goals were to raise public awareness of Lawdragon, help define and position the company, and advance the brand image. Additionally, I worked on developing and managing key resources and tools for attorneys.
Prior to joining Lawdragon, I was Managing Editor/Marketing Liaison in the book division of ALM (American Lawyer Media). In that position, I developed strong research, writing, editing and oral communication skills. I created and help implement marketing initiatives and assure quality communications. Additionally, I have worked as a liaison with lawyers, law firm management, business developers, marketing and communications teams and the media. I've also written and edited on all types of content to assure consistency and a better-written product.
