Shmini Atzeret Hakafot for Kids @Chabad of the West Side
It's a Chabad custom to celebrate Hakafot the night of Shmnin Atzeret. We of course repeat it on Simchat Torah (double the fun!)
One of the reasons is to celebrate together with the people in Israel, who celebrate Shmini Atzeret and ST on the same day.
Chabad of the West Side is located on 166 W.97th Street, corner Amsterdam. The services are held upstairs of the second floor.
The program for Wednesday night is:
6:30 PM candle-lighting followed by Children's Program: Games, songs and stories!
7:30 PM Kids Kiddush in Sukkah
8:00 PM Children dance with the Torah!
