In the past 2 months I've had several doctors (4 men, 1 woman) condescendingly tell me that spending my day running after a 3 year old and 16 months old, lifting baskets of laundry, hefting bags of groceries, bending and stretching to sweep and mop the floors and pushing a double stroller up and down hills every day...
is not exercise.
The orthopedist even snarked that the tennis elbow he just diagnosed me with was the closest I'd ever come to sports.
Yesterday, my reflexologist finally offered some validation but jeez.... YOU try doing what I do for a week and then tell me it ain't exercise.
hahaha i told that to my husband last summer and he didn't believe me until he tried pushing the stroller up the hill i always walk... oh yeah, and then i lost like 15 pounds from doing it, so tell that to whoever doesn't believe you.
