Renowned special education attorney, Mayerson will explain how parents can access appropriate programming and funding, including prospective (“Connors”) funding, and he will discuss strategies to address and neutralize this year’s crop of roadblocks and hurdles. Gary Mayerson is the founder of Mayerson & Associates (est. 2000), the first law firm in the nation dedicated to representing individuals with autism and related disorders. He has testified before Congress on the subject of the federal IDEA statute, serves on the board of Autism Speaks and is the author of How To Compromise With Your School District Without Compromising Your Child (DRL Books 2005).
