Acadia National Park in Maine is amazing and the fall leaves are spectacular. There are many interseting towns along the way.

This is exactly what Jack is suggesting and I'm not sure why, but I'm not too excited about it. Now I"m seeing your post. Did you go w/ the kids? Where'd you stay? So, Col. day week/end is a nice time then? -
