The drifting definition of Mom

SAN ANGELO, Texas — As an eighth grade teacher, I have learned that the word, "word" has an implied meaning which is nothing like the dictionary meaning. If a student says, "Word, Ms. Elliott" to me, I generally respond with, "Grading papers and trying make a difference, word up with you?" The student proceeds to tell me about what is going on in their life at the moment.
The word "Mom" also has multiple meanings in our world.
