The Circus is coming to town!
IF you have yet to enjoy the ELEPHANT WALK I highly highly suggest you do it. The Ringlign Bros Circus walks their elephants into Manhattan via the midtown tunnel and its is a very exciting event. While the busiest parts of the route are on 34th st. I found that the best spot to be is right at the opening of the mid-town tunnel. It's very exciting watching the police stop traffic for the Elephants to come through! If you'd like some ideas on themed CIRCUS parties please join our Party Planning group to exchange ideas.

NOPE! Elephant Walk 2009 is on March 24. The circus starts on the 26th and the Elephant walk is always 2 days before. But just remember this is a late night event. They close down all traffic in the midtown tunnel so the Elephants don't come out till well after midnight. There were still alot of families there. It seems they would put their kids to bed and then wake them up and go watch the elephant walk in their PJs. It was very cute.
