Hi all,

Pesach is around the corner.

I am making my first ever seders in our house this year. I am looking for tips, tricks, menus, schedules, recipes, etc.

Have a tip that helps you through it all? Post it here.

Have a trick up your sleeve that turns you into a Passover Super Star? Let us know!

What do you clean first, how, when, etc.

When do you cook, where do you store it, when do you shop, etc. etc.

Thanks in advance!

While I'm not a Pesach super-star, I do have a few tricks:

Don't go all out cooking for seder. For example, don't make matzah ball soup (gasp)...save it for shabbat chol hamoed. How much food can you eat after all that matzah and maror? At 10 p.m.? Cook fun stuff later on, with less pressure.

Serve fruit for dessert (fresh or dried) with every meal. Your intestines will thank you. Kids are particularly enthusiastic with watermelon and berries.

Listen to fun music or inspiring Torah tapes as you clean and cook.

Clean from "out" (far from kitchen and dining room) to "in" (the kitchen and dining room). Clean from top to bottom, so you don't splash or otherwise dirty what you have already cleaned.

Above all...read Rav Chaim Pinchus Scheinberg's Pesach cleaning minimums so you don't make yourself unnecessarily crazy. You can find them online or in the book _Heart to Heart Talks_ (Artscroll).

Don't worry...Hashem always makes a nes and you'll do it!
